KAFC Team honored at MI-COPS Annual Holiday Gathering

Members of the Kazoo Area Foot Chase team attended the annual MI-COPS holiday gathering in Lansing, Michigan today and were surprised to receive MI-COPS' prestigious Carol Law Award for Volunteerism.  Kudos to the entire KAFC team for your suburb  ongoing efforts at hosting a sterling event that benefits hundreds of law enforcement survivors through the good works of MI-COPS.  You and all who sponsor, volunteer and participate in the annual Kazoo Area Foot Chase do more good then you'll ever know, and are appreciated many times over as shown in today's recognition.

Update on fund for children of slain Lakewood officers

Lakewood Police Independent Guild

The Lakewood Police Independent Guild has added several convenient ways on their website for concerned individuals to donate to a fund for the children of the slain Lakewood, Washington officers.  This week's tragic and senseless assassination of the four Lakewood officers while they were holding a morning meeting in an area coffee shop left behind nine children between the four.  Each child has a long road toward recovery ahead of them, but your financial support will help offset any monetary concerns that they may face now and in the future.  God bless them all.
